Links & Clubhouse Etiquette

Dress Code

Rosslare Golf Links aims to operate a contemporary and forward-thinking dress policy, in keeping with a modern day golf club, located at a seaside resort. It is in all our interests to maintain standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions. Golfers at Rosslare are, therefore, made aware that the following are recommended standards both on the golf course and in the clubhouse.

On the Golf Links
Neat, casual wear only permitted.
Tailored shorts may be worn with appropriate sports socks.
Trouser legs must not be tucked into socks.
Hats and caps must be worn as they were designed.
Golf shoes must be worn (soft spikes are recommended)
Denim Jeans, Singlet’s, Football, Rugby, Soccer and similar Jerseys, Cargo Pants / Combats, Tracksuit Pants are not acceptable on the golf links.

In the Clubhouse

Neat casual wear must be worn in the clubhouse at all times.
Golf shoes are not permitted in the bar/restaurant areas nor are golf hats or caps.
Shoes must be worn at all times when in the Bar / Dining Room
The Clubhouse has every facility for changing into and from golf apparel.

Please note that Club staff are authorised to approach members and visitors if the dress code is not being adhered to.

Mobile Phones

The use of mobile phones is discouraged in the Clubhouse. If you wish to make/take a call we recommend that you use the foyer, hall or outside terrace area to do so. Players are asked to keep their phones on silent while on the links.

Liability

We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party, to any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
